instrumental tracks created with fugazi samples

At the end of October, musician Chris Lawhorn releases Fugazi Edits, a 22-track instrumental album constructed out of 100 samples covering every song in Fugazi's back catalogue. The album, to be released on CD and digitally, has the authorisation of Fugazi main man Ian Mackaye, and profits will go to charity.

Lawhorn's backstory includes drumming for the band Cataract Falls, DJing at US Spring Break events, recording a rap album and, somewhat incongrously, spending 18 months as the resident DJ for Marie Claire magazine.
